Well, after a very successfull opening, Beaches & Cream in Cullercoats is trading strongly and building quite a following. North Tyneside Council thought the unit was so good, they nominated the unit for the Local Authority Building Control Awards!

The finals were held at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead, where the job narrowly missed the golden prize. Praise was given to the project which stood against stiff competition from multi-million pound ventures. Congratulations to Dave and Marj on reaching the finals.
